On August 15, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony for trade cooperation between the Lao Cai Cassia, Star Anise Association and the Spices Board of India was held at the Association's headquarters.
Under the MOU, both parties committed to cooperate in: market information exchange, trade promotion, processing technology transfer, and jointly developing quality standards for cinnamon and star anise exported to the Indian market.
